Payload capacity: 20,000 lbs
Securement: Ratchet straps at 4-foot intervals with corner edge protectors

Scheduling

Flexible Scheduling That Works for You

We understand that your business does not always operate on a 9-to-5 schedule. That is why we offer flexible pickup and delivery windows, including early morning, evening, and weekend options. When you schedule with us, you choose the time window that causes the least disruption to your operations.

For recurring needs, we set up standing delivery and pickup schedules so you never have to think about reordering. Many of our clients operate on weekly or bi-weekly container exchange programs where we deliver clean totes and pick up empties in a single trip, maximizing efficiency and minimizing your logistics overhead.

Need a rush order? Same-day delivery is available for in-stock items within our Chicagoland service area when orders are placed before noon. For time-sensitive operations, we also offer dedicated vehicle assignments that guarantee your delivery is the only stop on the route.

Our scheduling system supports appointment-based delivery windows (2-hour or 4-hour windows), first-stop guarantees for time-critical loads, after-hours delivery for facilities that operate evening or overnight shifts, and recurring automated scheduling for regular customers.

Handling

Loading, Unloading, and Material Handling

Our drivers are trained specifically in IBC tote handling. They understand the proper forking points, stacking limitations, and securing methods for these containers. We handle all loading at our facility and all unloading at your destination, so you do not need to provide equipment or personnel.

For facilities with loading docks, our drivers back up to the dock and use pallet jacks to roll totes into position. For ground-level deliveries, our liftgate-equipped trucks lower totes to ground level where they can be walked into position or moved with your forklift. For sites with no material handling capability, our forklift-equipped trucks handle everything.

We place totes exactly where you need them within your facility, not just at the dock door. Whether that means moving them to a specific warehouse bay, staging them near a production line, or placing them in an outdoor storage area, our drivers accommodate reasonable placement requests.

What Our Drivers Handle

Forklift loading and unloading at origin and destination
Dock-level and ground-level delivery
Tote placement at specified locations within your facility
Removal of shrink wrap, strapping, and shipping materials
Collection of empty totes on delivery trips (exchange program)
Verification of tote count and condition at delivery
Proof of delivery documentation with signature capture
Protection

Damage Prevention During Transit

IBC totes are durable containers, but they can still be damaged by improper handling during transport. Our damage prevention protocols ensure your totes arrive in the same condition they left our facility.

Ratchet Strap Securement

Every tote is individually strapped to the truck deck using rated ratchet straps at 4-foot intervals. Straps are tensioned to FMCSA specifications to prevent shifting during transit without crushing the container.

Edge Protectors

Corner and edge protectors are placed between straps and tote cages to prevent strap-induced denting. This is especially important for Grade A totes where cosmetic condition matters.

Load Bars and Bulkheads

Adjustable load bars and bulkheads prevent forward shifting during braking. For enclosed trailers, these are placed at the front of the load and between tote rows.

Weather Protection

For food-grade and sensitive deliveries, enclosed box trucks protect totes from rain, road spray, and temperature extremes during transit. Tarps are available for flatbed deliveries.

No Double-Stacking Full Totes

Full (liquid-containing) totes are never double-stacked during transport. Only empty totes are stacked, and only when the bottom tote cage is verified for stacking load capacity.

Valve Protection

Discharge valves are verified closed and locked before loading. Valve handles are positioned to prevent accidental opening. Protective caps are installed when available.

GPS Route Monitoring

Real-time GPS tracking monitors vehicle speed, harsh braking events, and route deviations. Drivers receive automated alerts if driving conditions could risk load damage.

Insurance

Comprehensive Insurance Coverage

Your totes are fully insured from the moment they are loaded onto our truck until they are placed at your facility. Our comprehensive insurance portfolio protects against damage, loss, accidents, and environmental incidents during transport.

Cargo Liability Insurance

$250,000 per shipment

Covers the full value of IBC totes and their contents during transit. Protects against damage from accidents, weather, theft, and mishandling.

General Commercial Liability

$2,000,000 per occurrence

Covers property damage and bodily injury liability arising from our transport operations at your facility. Includes loading and unloading activities.

Auto Liability Insurance

$1,000,000 per accident

Covers third-party property damage and bodily injury from vehicle accidents during transport. Required by FMCSA for all commercial carriers.

Environmental Liability

$1,000,000 per incident

Covers cleanup costs and third-party damages from accidental spills or releases of residual materials during transport. Essential for totes with chemical residues.

Workers Compensation

Statutory limits per state requirements

Covers our drivers and crew for workplace injuries during loading, transport, and unloading operations at your facility.

Certificates of Insurance available on request. Many of our clients require COI documents for their vendor qualification files. We provide these at no charge within 24 hours of request. Our insurance is maintained through A-rated carriers and is updated annually.

Compliance

DOT and FMCSA Regulatory Compliance

Every vehicle in our fleet meets or exceeds Department of Transportation (DOT) safety requirements. Our trucks undergo regular inspections, and our drivers hold valid CDL licenses with clean safety records. All drivers complete annual hazmat awareness training, even for non-hazmat loads, ensuring they know how to handle any container safely.

IBC totes are secured during transit using DOT-approved methods including ratchet straps, edge protectors, and load bars. We follow FMCSA cargo securement rules (49 CFR Part 393) for every shipment. For totes containing residual materials, we provide proper placarding and documentation as required by PHMSA regulations.

Our FMCSA compliance record is publicly available through the SAFER System. We maintain a satisfactory safety rating with no unresolved violations. Our vehicles are inspected quarterly by certified DOT mechanics, and all inspection records are maintained in compliance with 49 CFR Part 396.

Compliance Highlights

Active USDOT number and FMCSA operating authority (MC number)
Satisfactory DOT safety rating with zero critical violations
All drivers hold valid CDL licenses with clean CSA scores
Annual HAZMAT awareness training for all drivers (49 CFR 172.704)
Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) in all vehicles per FMCSA mandate
Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections documented per 49 CFR 396.13
Quarterly preventive maintenance on all vehicles exceeding DOT minimums
Drug and alcohol testing program per FMCSA regulations (49 CFR Part 382)
PHMSA-compliant placarding and documentation for hazmat residue loads
Tracking

Real-Time GPS Tracking

Every vehicle in our fleet is equipped with real-time GPS tracking that provides continuous visibility into the location and status of your shipment. From the moment your totes are loaded until they are delivered, you know exactly where they are.

Our GPS system does more than just show location. It monitors vehicle speed, route adherence, stop duration, harsh braking events, and ambient temperature (in climate-controlled units). This data ensures your totes are being transported safely and efficiently.

Live Location Updates

Real-time vehicle position updated every 30 seconds. Accessible via web link sent to your email or phone. No app download required.

ETA Notifications

Automated notifications sent when the driver is 30 minutes and 10 minutes from your delivery location. Gives your team time to prepare for receiving.

Delivery Confirmation

GPS-timestamped proof of delivery showing exact arrival time, stop duration, and departure time. Combined with driver-captured signature and photo documentation.

Geofence Alerts

Automated alerts trigger when our vehicle enters and exits your facility geofence. Useful for facilities that need to log all vendor arrivals for security or scheduling.

Historical Route Data

Complete route history is retained for 90 days and available on request. Useful for verifying delivery times, resolving disputes, and optimizing future delivery planning.

Bulk Transport

Moving Volume Efficiently

For large-scale operations, bulk transport is where we deliver the most value. A standard 53-foot trailer can carry 48 totes stacked single-high or up to 80 totes when double-stacked (empty containers only). We coordinate multi-truck shipments for orders exceeding single-trailer capacity.

Bulk transport rates are significantly lower per unit than individual deliveries. For clients moving 48 or more totes, we offer dedicated full-truckload (FTL) pricing that includes loading, transport, and unloading. Partial truckload (LTL) options are available for orders between 10 and 47 units.

For multi-site operations, we plan optimized routing that serves multiple delivery points in a single trip, further reducing per-unit costs. Our logistics team works directly with your operations manager to plan the most efficient delivery schedule.

Fuel & Pricing

Fuel Surcharge and Pricing Transparency

We believe in transparent pricing with no surprises. Our transport quotes include all known costs at the time of quoting. However, like all carriers, we apply a fuel surcharge that fluctuates with diesel fuel prices to ensure fair pricing for both parties.

Our fuel surcharge is calculated using the U.S. Department of Energy's weekly national average diesel fuel price. The surcharge is applied as a percentage of the base transport rate and is updated monthly. When fuel prices drop, the surcharge decreases. When fuel prices rise, the surcharge increases. This approach is industry standard and ensures our base rates remain stable regardless of fuel market volatility.

Fuel Surcharge Calculation

Based on DOE weekly average diesel price. Updated on the 1st of each month. Current surcharge percentage is disclosed on every quote and invoice.

Toll Pass-Through

Tolls on the Illinois Tollway and Indiana Toll Road are passed through at cost. No markup on tolls. Toll amounts are itemized separately on your invoice.

No Hidden Fees

Our quotes include loading, transport, unloading, and standard equipment usage. There are no hidden accessorial charges, detention fees, or surprise line items.

Detention Time Policy

Our drivers wait up to 30 minutes at pickup and delivery locations at no charge. Extended wait times beyond 30 minutes are billed at $50 per 30-minute increment.

Contract Rate Locks

Recurring transport customers can lock in rates through quarterly or annual contracts, providing budget predictability. Fuel surcharges still apply but base rates are fixed.
